The International Bioenergy (Shanghai) Exhibition and Asian Bioenergy Conference 2015 (IBSCE) encourages high-quality work amongst young researchers. The IBSCE Students Awards will be presented in recognition of the most remarkable and outstanding research work in the field of Bioenergy.
The international Scientific Committee may nominate up to 5 awardees, maximum one for each main Conference Topic.
In order to apply for the IBSCE Student Awards applicants must:
- submit an extended abstract (one page abstract plus a maximum of 3 explanatory pages) to the IBSCE via the On line Abstract Submission Form of this website by 11 May 2015.
- be officially matriculated students, including PhD students, by the end of the conference (23 October 2015)
- be within the age limit of 35 years old
- upload in addition to the abstract a letter of recommendation stating the name of the applicant and the institution where the research work is supervised, confirming that the applicant is an officially matriculated student at this institution. Recommendations should include a report of up to one A4 page that outlines how the research work will make an outstanding contribution to the discipline and what the specific contribution of the applicant is. The same file of the recommendation letter must also contain a page containing a short curriculum vitae with the complete date of birth of the applicant. This is a requirement in order to complete the submission. The report can only be made by a student’s supervisor(s) or head of department.
